Nicholas Neal

Optimum is owned and managed by Nicholas Neal, an industry specialist with over a decade of extensive networking and recruitment experience in London, Sydney and Hong Kong.

After graduating with a degree in Economics, he started his career in London 1997. He worked for a privately held firm specialising in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector. Three years later Nicholas moved to Sydney and began working for an Australian Stock Exchange listed firm specialising in Banking and Finance and Commerce and industry.

Nicholas then moved to Hong Kong with Ambition, later joining Robert Walters in 2004 managing the Commerce Finance division, placing a full range of senior management positions with multinational organisations.

In 2008, Nicholas created Optimum, specialising in Back Office, Middle Office and Commerce Finance recruitment for the Accounting, Commerce and banking sectors in Asia.

Michala Michael
Managing Director, Singapore
Optimum Singapore is owned and managed by Michala Michael. Michala has extensive experience in the Investment Banking and the Finance Services industry having worked across numerous recruitment and outsourcing projects over the past 10 years in London, Singapore and Sydney.

Following her degree in Law & German, Michala started her career in 1999 working for a specialist legal recruitment firm and quickly progressing on-site for a Global Investment Bank working across numerous projects. In 2006 she moved to Singapore and joined Hudson as a Regional Implementation Manager for their Asia Recruitment process outsourcing team before moving back to the client side for Morgan Stanley, where she managed the recruitment for their South East Asian offices. She has recently joined Optimum as the Managing Director for the Singapore office.

Evelyn Tsui
Associate Director, Hong Kong
Evelyn obtained her bachelor degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California and started her career as a Consultant with a Big 4 Firm. She is a licensed CPA in the State of California. After spending a couple of years in public accounting, Evelyn moved back to Hong Kong and joined Robert Walters as a recruitment consultant in the Commerce Accounting Division for a year before moving to the Banking Back Office Division as a Senior Consultant servicing investment banking clients. She has joined Optimum recently to run Banking Back and Middle office.
